Posted By: Lee Behrens
Sean, the best way (some the only way) for most issues is to start doing the research yourself if there is an issue you are interested in. I can guide you to one T206 site but I do not believe there are any other vintage free price guide sites.

Lee

Posted By: Eric B
This is a pretty good question. You would think a set "expert" would put prices on a website to further the set and/or lead people to that site which would help in the acquisition of cards.

I intend at some point to do this with the 622 card N224 (non-sport) set. But what is holding me back is that once I do this, the rarities of the set become known. And I am still looking to pick them up cheap.

Posted By: Lee Behrens
Eric, You kind of hit the nail on the head. You know what cards are tougher but it is not widely known so you want to pick them up cheaply. Now if you come out with a price guide the cat's out of the bag and you have to pay more, that is why you end up charging for your pricing service to compensate for the higher price and the knowledge and time you put into your results.

Lee
