Posted By: Ted Zanidakis
What is a "power erase" ?

I acquired this card from a very reliable source and I have examined it closely under magnification, and I see
nothing but a white clean cardboard border.

How about if I mail this Miller card out to you Brian, and you can check it out. I don't see a problem with it.
But, I would like a 2nd opinion.

TED Z

Posted By: Richard
Ted and Brian,

I don't think this was power erased. Just a hack job using a regular eraser. You can still see the writing on the bottom border that someone attempted to erase properly. In addition, there is some writing left in the right border at the bottom and some the ink along the bottom of the picture has been erased off.

Posted By: leon
I understand the term "power erasing" is not erasing in the sense of taking off something like words or writing on a card. I understand it to be more like trimming through erasing paper away. As for the card in question, from my novice opinion, I too think it's just an erased name. If you look at that bottom black line on the border, part of it is "erased" into being whiter....That's just the way it looks to me...

Posted By: Dan Bretta
Looks to me like someone wrote their own name or some other name on the card and then someone erased it...you can still see the writing on there if you look closely.

Posted By: Brian Weisner

Hi Ted,
You're welcome to send me the card for another opinion, but it looks pretty clear in the scan to me. I bought one that looks similiar to yours a few years ago, and am 99.9% certain that it has been erased too... Sorry, be well Brian
