Question about Trimming
 

Posted By: <b>MilfordMark</b><p>From time to time, I see a card on ebay that says something like, "...right side has evidence of trimming". I assume this means that the card will not be graded. Does this mean that it won't be graded (e.g. PSA 2) or it won't be authenticated at all.<br /><br />If the latter, why is that? In other words, if the card was authentic, albeit trimmed, why can it not be called authentic.<br /><br />I am not trying to advocate card trimming, just trying to understand the rationale.<br /><br />Thanks,<br /><br />Mark

Posted By: <b>Anthony</b><p>I've had trimmed and miscut cards holdered by PSA as authentic- you just have to ask. <br />I'm glad all the grading companies are doing this more often.
