Buyer and Seller handles on ebay?

Posted By: Dave F
Just curious how many of you now have two different ebay handles. I've been seriously considering opening up a second account to do my buying from this point on. That way I could keep my feedback and not have to worry quite as much about getting hit with a neg from a seller. I also am at the point I feel I can't be honest about having a bad transaction with the thought of gettinug hit with a neg. So if I opened up a different account, could keep my current with 100% feedback and use the new one as a "buy only". Any thoughts or is it just wrong to do it this way?

Posted By: leon
Like Mark says you might get some kick back until you build some feedback up but I don't see an issue with it. I know many people have different accounts for buying and selling. A lot of folks have multiple accounts for both buying and selling. I only have 1 account but think the "more than 1 account" makes sense.....good luck...

Posted By: Steve M.
I have two (used to have three). One for selling, one for sniping

My first purchase was for a card costing more than 2K. I just emailed the seller in advance and told him who I was and asked that he check my other handle for 100% feedback. No problem.

Posted By: Dave
I've always used one account for everything and haven't felt the need to open a second account. I don't understand why anyone would open a second account up just for "sniping".....are you afraid someone will find out you sniped them or something ??

Posted By: Steve M.
Yes Dave, that's exactly why I have a sniping handle. Too many people get their noses out of joint if you bid against them.
