Tysons Corner Virgina Shows

Posted By: Bob Lamb
I was wondering if anyone has attended this show lately? It is promoted by Nick Schoff. Back in the mid 1980's he used to do several shows in the area including Laurel,MD. These were always good shows with a good mix of dealers.Picked up my first pre war card there, a 1935 Goudey Jimmy Foxx. I was wondering how this show was now since it is an hour and a half away from me here in Maryland. Any info would be appreciated.

Bob

Posted By: Alan
Bob -

I used to go to Nick's shows in the 1980's and 1990's all throughout the Wash, DC area. From what I've heard, nowadays, this particularly show is 20 tables of the shiny stuff. No vintage whatsoever.

Alan

Posted By: Donald Johnson
Bob,

There are ususally 3-6 dealers that set up with Vintage material. Maybe 1-2 with pre-war stuff; 4-6 dealers with stuff through the 50's. The other 30+ tables have newer material and then there are 20-30 comic book dealers from time to time.
