T206 Question Very dark back
 

Posted By: <b>David B</b><p>Hello,<br /><br />I bought the card on the right a few months ago on ebay without seeing a back scan. I was wondering if others have seen such a dark back. Both cards in the scan are PSA 3 with no qualifiers. Would assume if it was residue of some kind, it would be reflected in the grade. On the front where the corner is frayed shows the same dark color. Is it something different or did PSA screw up on this one? Posted By: <b>Steve f</b><p>I recieved some old cards that were tacked inside a New England tool shed for more than fifty years. Exposure to moisture, cold, heat etc turned the white backs the same as yours. They were also very brittle. Be careful if busting it out.
