P2 Backings

The majority of mine have a white background while a few are red or blue. I also have one or two with white backgrounds and red printing. <br /> <br />There also seem to be two manufacturers, Whitehead & Hoag or Ehrman Co. Were the majority of these pins produced in the New England area? I know the Ehrman co headquarters were in Boston and a manufacturing plant was located in Milford, New Hampshire. It seems as though the backs have little or no bearing on the prices of the pins.<br /><br />
