Posted By: Steve
My question is how many Net54 members own a No # 1914 cracker jack Roger Bresnahan? I have been collecting 1914 CJs for a couple of years now and the only one I ever saw on eBay I purchased. Does anyone know the story behind the card? Paper stock does seem to be even lighter than normal CJs so I didn't know if perhapse this was a trial run before they made the set.

Posted By: chris bland
I have one of these, graded authentic by Beckett. Its in very poor condition, with tape on it, but I won it for just over 50 bucks on ebay, so I thought it was a good buy given the rarity of this card.

Posted By: Steve
Wow that's a great deal on a NO#. Anyone else have prices they paid, pics from their collection, or further info on this rare card?

Posted By: Steve
So do not many board members collect 1914 cracker jacks? Or is this just one of those cards that is hard to find any info on? I was kinda hoping to find a die hard CJ collector that could shed some light on this one.

Posted By: Mike
Yes, these are rare( well, until the Hunt Auction anyway). You usually see one a year pop up in major auctions, rarely on Ebay. The price is usually around $800 for a PSA 1 so they don't come cheap. Unless you are building a set, I would rather spend that kind of money on a Hofer. Hope this helps.

Steve, if you want to talk about this set, shoot me an email. I completed it early this year and might be able to help with other info.

Posted By: WP
As barry pointed out, Hunt has seven in their upcoming auction. Be patient if you can.
