Posted By: <b>dan b.</b><p>why would you waste time grading a worthless page out of a reach or a spalding guide that someone destroyed the guide to get? and why not keep the guide intact. this is about as ridiculous as cutting up a babe ruth bat and gluing pieces of it to baseball cards and calling them bat cards.

Posted By: <b>Rob</b><p>because you'll get the occasional uneducated impulse buyer that doesn't know what he's buying to spend $25 on it.<br />I was surfing through ebay, saw the auction for NY National team w/ christy mathewson (oooo, must be worth ALOT!!!!) with just minutes left to go and thought I was getting a card. Then after the auction ended i asked the kind people at Network54 what i got and they informed me what i REALLY purchased, and now I realize it was a mistake.<br /><br />BTW, if anyone wants a cheap NY team photo cutout from a 1908 spalding magazine, its yours!
