Posted By: <b>MVSNYC</b><p>well, my world tour has brought me to Dallas, Texas this weekend (my cousin is graduating college)...Dinner @ The Palm last night, then drinks @ Wish...tonight Ghostbar @ the "W" Hotel...<br /><br />that's all fine and dandy...BUT i need my Baseball Card Fix! i think some of you may live here, unfortunetly i don't have that much time, or else i would try to meet up with a few of you...but, at least, can anyone recommend a decent BBC Shop to visit in Dallas?

Posted By: <b>leon</b><p>Fogo de Cao is the absolute best place I have ever been to eat meat....all you can eat gourmet meats and gourmet salad bar. What more can one ask for?.....If you were here longer Micheal we could hook up. I hate to say but I don't think there are any good vintage card shops in this area (that I am aware of). I know John Richardson has a shop in San Antonio....but I really don't know of any others. There might be 1-2 in Houston but not sure. I am not sure I have been to the Palm....a little too "backbone" for me.....regards

I love Fogo de Chao, but if you are looking for some great steaks in the downtown area (looks like where you are hanging out) try the one of the following:<br /><br />Bob's Steak House (lemmon and wyclff ave)<br />Nick and Sam's (maple?)<br />Nine (Olive st) - near Victory plaza, AA center, and the W hotel<br /><br />Other hot spots for drinks: <br />Dragonfly (hotel zaza)<br />Hotel Palomar lounge<br />Trece (on Travis st.)<br />Javier's (great cigar lounge)<br />Thomas Ave Beverage company<br />Medici (club)<br /><br />Unfortunately, I am not aware of a "good" baseball card shop with vintage. Posted By: <b>MVSNYC</b><p>Jay/Barry- my cousin's college graduation is what brings me to Dallas...but don't worry, i eat plenty of NY's best offerings "whilst" i'm home.<br /><br />we didn't get done with his ceremonies (plural) until 9pm, so we actually just grabbed some ribs & pulled pork at "red, hot & blue"...it was good, but i'm sure i'll catch heat from the locals who will tell me it's crap.<br /><br />oh well, back to NYC tomorrow.
