1921-1930 M.L. Die Cuts Full Sheet find!

Posted By: Dave Y.
Hi Folks,

I just acquired these really neat die cut cards from the M.L. Die Cuts set from 1921-1930. There are two sheets, one that is completely empty that contained Philadelphia Athletics and the other, which is only missing 4 cards, is of the Chicago White Sox.

They are really in nice shape for their age. (Interestingly enough, the cutouts on both sheets are exactly the same size and shape.) I realize they are fairly common on eBay when they are by themselves, but does anyone have any idea what sheets like these might be worth? Has anyone seen these before?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance!

Dave

1921-1930 M.L. Die Cuts Full Sheet find!

Posted By: Dave S
Dave..I have the complete set (13) of 1927 Phil A's with Cobb, Grove(s), Cochrane, etc. Sent them to SGC about 2 years ago, they returned them because (at that time) they had no holder; they now do and quoted me $20 per card, supposedly a custom insert needed. They were returned in the mylar sleeves with SGC grades written on the sleeve with a Sharpie (didn't charge me a cent). I have been told that each year you could "update" the teams and players for that year...updates I was told were only stick-ons to add to the cardboard cutouts. The updates were distributed in these envelopes which only measure 3" x 4 1/2". Was also told that they envelopes are worth more than the figures. Not a highly collected set, not worth big money...
