Posted By: Dan Kravitz
Mastro has made some changes to the current lot descriptions. I noticed the Wagner Mother's Bread has been changed to add the following language...

"Upon close inspection it was noted that a surface wrinkle appears on the surface of the card. This horizontal wrinkle crosses Wagner's chest, does not break the paper and does not negatively impact the visual appeal of the card."

Please re-read the lot descriptions of all lots you are bidding on and/or call Mastro to have someone look at the card and give you a better idea (beyond the printed description) what it is that you are about to purchase.

Good luck
Posted By: Doug Allen
There are very few modifcations during an auction but when they occur they are highlighted in bright red colors on the internet. The lot status shows a bright red "modified" and there is red text that makes note of the fact the description is modified. Finally the modification is in bright red. Our phone operators note the modification when you call in.

In the context of a 1,800+ lot auction I would say it is usually less than a dozen lots.

The comment on the 14 Cracker Jack card is totally inacurrate. The lot NEVER included this card. It simply indicated Carters Mathewson would be sold in a different lot this auction. Since we already had a 14 CJ Mathewson we moved Carters to the June Classic event.

Yesterday a viewer pointed out two minor flaws that were not described on lot 1296 and lot 1321, the E92 and Mothers Bread Wagner cards so we made the appropropriate modifications.

Posted By: Kevin
No as stated in another thread, they are being slabbed and labeled as "doctored." They will go on tour so that other collectors may view them...if so desired.

Nothing like viewing it in person as opposed to a scan. This eliminates the preconceived notion that they are digitally made.

Perhaps then many can make a more informed choice when purchasing those rare and unusual error cards that some believe are impossible to duplicate.

Kevin Saucier
