Posted By: Fred C
I'm not an expert but the signature in the auctio looks good to me. If it's period ink I'm guessing it's real.

Posted By: DJ
Binder's exemplar is 15-20 years after the fact.

I don't think you can get an accurate answer here as this Forum isn't a specialty house for that kind of thing. It's tough to tell via a scan IMO.

Plunk down $6.95 and ask PSA/DNA.

If it is good, you may be able to steal it (I would guess it's value in this form at around $800-1000) since it doesn't come authenticated and the original source is a "drop off" company that caters to selling anything without a true education.

Good Luck.

DJ

Posted By: Brett
The one Bobby showed in the picture looks like one he signed when he was alot older. He signed his name a little different when he was younger, like the one in the ebay link. The one on ebay is his signature, but I don't know if its a reproduction or not.

Posted By: Sean Coe
Wagner's signature was more ornate around his playing days. I'm not sure about this one: parts of it imo look almost drawn.

Posted By: Jimmy Piccuito
The demand for a players older signature is significantly different from his early days, much like a rookie card. I can see that the signature is not the best and there are nice Wagner autographs out there, you just have to be patient. If you were interested send PSA the auction number and pay the few dollars.

Take Care Jimmy
