e92 question - historical
Posted By: Scott Mosley
Hi Rob,

Crofts Candy was just a brand name for candy put out by the Croft & Allen candy company of Philadelphia.

The company began as Croft & Wilbur back in the 1860's and eventually the company split into two companies. Wilbur & Sons who continued to concentrate on Chocolates while Croft & Allen concentrated on candy products.

Eventually, Croft & Allen must have gotten back into at least some Chocolate products as they gave us Crofts Cocoa.

Amazingly, Wilbur Chocolates is still in business today. Read the history on the companies website....

http://www.wilburchocolate.com/docs/about_us/history.html

Regards,

Scott

p.s. - I may be talking to you regarding a certain T213-3 in the near future
