Anybody bought and received cards from simsclassicsports?
 

Posted By: <b>Dave</b><p>Been looking at his stuff a little while now. Alot of his cards go fairly cheap...picked this up last night and payed what a typical PSA 2 would go for. I think the thing is his pics are either pretty bad, or someone is getting a huge break on getting items graded. In this pic this doesn't look like a 3..but most of his cards don't look like the grade assigned. I'm just wondering if anybody has bought from this seller and got the cards yet and if they look like the pictures or better...?<br /><br />Edited to say..I know Jason you picked up three last night..have you received any from the seller before?<br /><br /><img src="http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l111/asphaltman76/aaa.jpg">

Posted By: <b>Bruce MacPherson</b><p>I have also won several items from them and have had no problems. But I agree that their scans are awful. The cards appear to be dark with poor color. For someone with their high volume of sales, you wonder why they don't invest more time/money into better scans.

Posted By: <b>Jason Carota</b><p>Dave, the three I picked up last night are the first vintage cards I have purchased from sim's (as far as I can remember.) Other cards that I have purchased from him have been of the modern variety. All of them seem to match the grade given. If anything they seemed better in person because the colors are not all that vibrant in his pictures.<br /><br />Great guy to deal with, as well.

I used to buy raw from them regularly (until I completed my wantlist <img src="/images/happy.gif" height=14 width=14> ), and have absolutely never had any problems.
