Question about 1933 Goudey Ruth
Posted By: Don
I have a 1933 Goudey Ruth (#144) that is very pale. I had always assumed that the card had just faded (by sunlight or whatever), although I did find it odd that it would fade evenly. But a couple of years back, I saw a similar card in a Huggins and Scott auction. It was listed as a print variation -- does anybody here have any additional info?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Question about 1933 Goudey Ruth
Posted By: Bill
Card #144, Ruth was a double print. Since the Lajoie, #106, was not issued until 1934, the Ruth card was double printed to make up for the #106 loss. Whether that has anything to do with a variation I do not know.

Change your socks, drink water, and drive on.
