Price Guide for Graded Pre-War
Posted By: peter chao
Guys,

Which online or hard-copy price guide would you use for graded pre-war cards. Also, which price guide is good at giving reasonable comparison grades. For instance a PSA 9 is equivalent to an SGC 90 and is equivalent to an GAI 9.5, something like that.

Peter

Price Guide for Graded Pre-War
Posted By: Anthony
www.vintagecardprices.com

why use a guide when you can see actual sales? SMR is a joke, SGC uses vcp, and GAI will probably have a guide some Monday.

Price Guide for Graded Pre-War
Posted By: Denny
Vintagecardprices.com is by far the best tool in the industry! Auction info is provided ASAP when the auction is over and all info is stored with multiple links to view the actual auctions. If there is a downfall, and I don't see it as one...Just mentioning it FYI, It doesn't track BIN's(as of yet to my knowledge!?)...So What! VCP gives me what I need to determine If the present price of interested card(s) are to my likin'....What more can one ask for?

Life's Grand,
Denny Walsh

Price Guide for Graded Pre-War
Posted By: Joann
www.cardpricer.com

Excellent site. Two week free trial, and after that you can buy tokens for "pay as you go". I got 100 tokens for $25, I think. They are almost gone, at which point I will convert to subscription.

I don't use any hard copy price guides now that the online info is available. I can't make any sense of how printed prices compare to what I see in reality. The online guides are much more up to date, it seems to me.

Joann
