Posted By: <b>Frank Wakefield</b><p>OK,<br /><br />That's Larry on there, sitting, at the the other end of the card from Manger Birmingham... my understanding is that they did not exactly get along that year. Nap managed the "Naps" from 1905 into the 1909 season. Birmingham, who'd played outfield, started managing Cleveland in 1912. He benched Nap when the infielder's hitting fell off. This was not a popular move with the fans nor with Nap...
