Whats up with Goudeys with holes in them?
Posted By: davidcycleback
Timely question. I just bought a Travis Jackson signed Diamond Stars with three small punch holes in the top. Perhaps little boys kept them in their school binders.

Whats up with Goudeys with holes in them?
Posted By: Peter Thomas
I have about 80 of these that I got from my grandfather (really - actually my step grandfather) He worked in a drugstore in Worcester Mass. He said that there was a promotion that required canceling the cards by punching the copyright mark. Many customers just gave him the canceled cards and he gave them to me about 15 years later and that stared my interest in cards and I started collecting 49 Leafs. Sill have all of the cards and have had Babe and Lou graded. Nice looking 1's.

Posted By: Rick McQuillan
I have a 1915 CJ with a star punch in the corner and a "return to sender" type hand and finger stamp(no, not the middle finger) on the back of the card. I'm not sure what is up with that.

Rick
