Posted By: Joe Drouillard
I received mine yesterday. I read all three major articles before dinner and learned a lot. I especially liked Ted's article on the 1949 Leaf's. The Cracker Jack cover is great!

Best wishes,

Posted By: Joe_G.
From what I understand, issue #9 was shipped in a similar fashion to issue #1. For those with a good memory, a little variation in arrival time should be expected. On average, I've received my copies not to long after the 15th day of each quarter, so I'm not too worried. Rest assured, the magazines have either arrived or are on the way to all paid subscribers.

I share this after speaking with Lyman today

Best Regards,
Joe Gonsowski

Posted By: Ted Zanidakis
Joe Dr. and Josh A.

Thanks for the nice compliments regarding my 1949 LEAF BB story.

I hope this article will finally clear up the confusion that has "haunted" this set
for all these years. Just as the T206 is referred to as "The Monster" (pre-War era).
I would dare to say that this Leaf BB set is "the monster" of the post-War era.

In 1981 I started working on my 1st T206 set. Simultaneously, I started working on
the 1949 Leaf BB set. Now, mind you, I already had the 1st series of 49 cards from
my youth; it took me 12 years to finally complete the Leaf set comprising of 101 cards.
Meanwhile, it only took me 6 years to acquire the 520 cards and Magie to "complete"
the T206 set.

Ted Z
