Overpriced T206 card?

Overpriced T206 card?

Posted By: Ted Zanidakis
This card and the Magee portrait are going for ridiculous prices, lately. And, particularly,
if they have PIEDMONT backs. This one has a Sweet Cap back, nevertheless, they have
become very tough to find (since Fritsch, back in the '80s bought up all the Doyle cards).
And, many of them never made it back into the marketplace.

Compound that with the dude up in Michigan, who it was reported, tried to "fake" the Doyle
error card......these cards (Joe Doyle and Magee) have become quite tough to find. Therefore,
the bidding prices these two cards are getting on ebay are reaching the ridiculous.

These cards were not "short-printed"....but, the old "supply/demand" rule is dictating what
they sell for, nowadays.

T=Rex TED
