1880s lithographs from eBay

Posted By: Kyle
Now that the auction is over, and that it was at $200ish at the beginning of the day, and closed more than 7 times that, can anyone fulfill my curiousity and identify these? I was looking around trying to figure it out, and failed.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=018&item=280026313487&rd =1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

Many thanks,
Kyle

Also, in Keetz's guide he catalogs only 2 cards from the set. So 2 of the cards in the set sold where previously unknown/uncataloged. The card with the bat and the card with the player catching the ball while in a seated position are the previously uncataloged cards.

http://dodgersblueheaven.blogspot.com/
http://imageevent.com/ernestreyes

Posted By: fkw
Very Rare set of Trade Cards. They are known as H804-28 "Large Head Series". Only 2 of the cards were cataloged (known), the other 2 were unknown (uncataloged). They were the first examples Ive ever seen on eBay (last 8 years), and might be the complete set.

Final Price doesnt surprise me (but it did beat my bid by $500)

***Edited to say Ernest beat me to some of the info (maybe I should actually read all the posts first)
