Posted By: <b>anthony</b><p>there have been a lot of ebay bashing posts so i thought i'd post a good one for ebay...<br /><br />i just got back from phoenix on a long weekend trip to find out that my account was being used to sell about 25 electronic items. when i tried to long in, i found that my password did not work and when i finally got in, ebay had left me messages that my account was used without my permission and everything was deleted and that they froze my account. <br /><br />guess that'll teach me to leave my laptop at home...

Kudos to ebay !
 

Posted By: <b>DJ</b><p>I have had a number of issues with eBay (account related stuff) and eBay has always been great about fixing any issues. Ebay live is great to deal with. Also, <br /><br />I saw last night that there was this baseball signed by Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig and Ty Cobb. It looked like someone had simply written their names on this ball in pen and the seller knew it was fake because he basically said that there were no returns no matter what, "as is". <br /><br />The bidding for this "piece of crap" was at $76 and today, wallah! Gone! I like to keep track of "suspect pieces" and eBay is actually doing something on that front. Something is better than nothing.<br /><br />DJ
