Posted By: <b>Gilbert Maines</b><p><br />There are lots of reasons why I like the recent pick ups thread.<br /><br />I like to see the accomplishments of my colleagues, and wish I could share mine – but someday, I will.<br />I like the information which way too often is new to me.<br />I like seeing the diversity of the interests of our fellow Forum participants, and wish more lurkers would at least post here.<br />I like the cards! I like the beaters especially, and I rejoice in those which are pristine!<br />And I particularly like the new types that players such as Leon continue to bring us.<br />And as you know, there is so much more, that I won’t belabor us with trying to tabulate our likes (and still falling short).<br /><br />But on with the contest!<br /><br />Which card shown in the current recent pick ups thread would you most like to have? I hope this inquiry is not viewed as a contest to identify the most valuable card, because it is intended as which (if value was not a factor) do you most like to have?<br />

Posted By: <b>Gilbert Maines</b><p>Yeah Leon, I sort of envy your type cards, I considered that approach long and hard before I started on my quest.<br />I don't think that you will like mine tho. It is way into the sport's history, with little emphasis on card diversity.<br /><br />This month, so far, the pick ups seem less impressive to my tastes than usual. Id pick Joe Jones' guy in the Boston uniform as my favorite to date.
