I have found that SGC is extremely harsh on paste residue.

I ducked out about three bids before the final bid, but I am glad to see you replaced your Sisler card. I doubt that the Hornsby card will ever be on the market in my lifetime. The artwork looks very similar to other series in the latter half of the 1880s (Duke "Terrors," N28s, N29s, N165s, etc.).
