Posted By: <b>craig</b><p>on the may pickup thread, Scott T picked up some wonderful 3x5 autos of t206 players. my question is, how much are 3x5 autos of plyers on t206-6-7's worth? i have a few 3x5 autos of players featured on T205-6-7's. does the value of the auto increase when a players has little pro experience? the players i have are jimmy archer, jap barbeau, max carey, tommy leach, a.p. leifield, george f. mcbride and vic saier.<br /><br />thanks craig

Posted By: <b>davidcycleback</b><p>For common T206 players, the price will be based on rarity, team played for and quality of career. Year of death is a good indicator of rarity, with the earlier the death generally the rarer the signature. That the players are in the T206 or other major set will raise demand. An early player with a brief career and who died early is likely rarer. A player who played in the 1800s, even if just for a year, is desirable, as 1800s players are tough.

Posted By: <b>T206Collector</b><p>...well, my wife made me go after the four Marquards on ebay. She thought they were a lot more interesting than I did. But as soon as I got them, I knew I was onto something special and so I tried to track down more. This was early 2003, I believe, and I hadn't been able to acquire any until early this year when the Snograss showed up on ebay and a Board member (of the smiley faced e-mail above) traded me the Livingston, to my great and continued appreciation.<br /><br />I always keep an eye out for these, but you really just about never see them.<br /><br />
