An authentic replica!.... huh?
Posted By: Joe D.
Noticed this one on eBay and just thought it was funny.

It is an "authentic replica".

It gets better...
it comes with a certificate of authenticity to say that it is indeed an authentic replica.

'Authentic' and 'Replica'... when you put those two words in the same sentence, what exaclty does it mean?

http://cgi.ebay.com/Walter-Johnson-Replica-Signature-Baseball-Authentic-S_W0QQitemZ8816798699QQcategoryZ44817QQrdZ1QQcmdZV iewItem

An authentic replica!.... huh?
Posted By: Noel
I came across something very similar however it came in the form of a birthday "present". I still have my authentic replica baseball's (certificate of authenticity and all) that my mother and father in law gave me several years ago. They are wonderful in-laws and searched for a while before they found the perfect gift for me. I thanked them graciously and tried to contain my enthusiasm.
