I picked up Lefty Grove (Oct. 1 back) at a recent show that is in F-G condition with light creasing and centering issues, the corners have light wear. I paid $175, does that sound about right given it's condition? Sorry no scan, I can try to post one later. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.<br /><br />Mike

There is a Mickey Cochrane on eBay right now. $175.00 is not a bad price at all for the Grove in that condition. I am working on a set right now. They are very, very tough in 6 or above.<br /><br />Of course in today's hobby the only three words that count are<br /><br />condition, condition and condition<br /><br />Best of luck in your hunt<br /><br />Bruce

I've got a handful of them myself, most of them thanks to a large assortment sold on Ebay recently (about 40 different cards). Alike collecting any other rare issue, I wait until a large assortment of single auctions hits Ebay..that way the prices are driven down a bit. I like BC's because of their rarity, but also because of their unique size. Another appealing feature to me are the close up photo's used on many of the cards.

Posted By: <b>Mike</b><p>I have had two Foxx's over the years. I sold one. I kept the graded 4. Though quite frankly, I thought it was a better card than the graded three I sold. Go figure.....many many of them are OC. But that just gives them character.<br /><br />
