New "F" issue?

The card portion measures approx 2" x 3" and is pasted into the wooden holder. <br />The captions aren't obvious in the scan - interestingly, while the Mathewson & Alexander both have position and team, and the Huggins has Manager and position and team, the Cobb says "Famous baseball player". There doesn't appear to be anything on the backs of the cards, when holding them up to strong light.<br /><br /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.network54.com/Realm/tmp/1144888380.JPG">

Posted By: <b>Tim James</b><p>My first impression would be that they date earlier than the 40's or 50's.I may be mistaken,but I would think that paper servers were used during that period.Very interesting pieces,I've never seen anything like those.I would say they could be used as popcorn servers also.
