This is the first time I've ever had to cancel any listings and I was just wondering, does that hurt a sellers reputation?. I only have 20 feedbacks (100%). And I would like to sell more cards. Unless it's almost every auction you put up your cancelling it shouldn't be a problem. <br /><br />I would suggest however that you might want to get your feeback up a little higher before selling high dollar cards b/c alot of people will shy away from you since you don't have alot a postive experiences with ebay. I sold cheap stuff until I got a score of 50 and then started selling the higher dollar items. Just trying to help you get the most return possible.

Posted By: <b>Paul M.</b><p>300+ positive and 1 negative and you lost trust, thats quite a shame. I think you can have that 1 negative retracted if you play your cards right with ebay customer support. Ebay has 'live help' chat for a quick human response. Give that a shot.

There are rare instances when it can be removed unilaterally, but it's easier to plan a BBQ on the White House lawn. Can't recall receiving any substantial advice from the "Have a Nice eBay Day sir" cult, but they are upbeat and pleasant.

The former should not be an issue w/r/t feedback because there was no other person involved. If the latter, explain it to your buyer(s) and if they are reasonable people, there should be no issue. Happened to me both as buyer and seller. <br /><br /><br /><br />--You've got to remember that these are just simple farmers. These are people of the land. The common clay of the new West. You know... morons--

If you were to contact the bidders and tell them your explanation, more than likely all the bidders will understand.<br /><br />If this is an isolated incident I doubt people will hold it against you.

Posted By: <b>andy becker</b><p>i leave feedback for the buyer when payment is received. at that point i feel the buyer has met his obligation....and i leave positive feedback. <br /><br />some do it the other way around....wait for the buyer to leave feedback....then leave the feedback.<br /><br /><br />my way, you loose the ability to leave a retalitory negitive....but if you are reasonable, i don't think it should ever get to that point.<br /><br />
