Does the "Nagy Collection" bring a premium?
Posted By: Dean H
I was wondering if anybody felt the SGC cards from the Nagy Collection are bringing premiums? I'm mainly referring to the the M116 Cobb SGC 50 that was snapped up at $1,550. There is also a Nagy M116 Wagner SGC 40 that seems to be garnering a lot of attention. Are the M116's ready to take off too or does the Nagy label affect the price? Thanks for your thoughts.

http://cgi.ebay.com/1910-11-M116-SPORTING-LIFE-TY-COBB-HOF-SGC-50_W0QQitemZ8776210200QQcategoryZ57993QQrdZ1QQcmdZ ViewItem

Dean

Does the "Nagy Collection" bring a premium?
Posted By: JimB
Seems like the "Nagy Collection" cards are getting a bit of a premium. Virtually all of them have gone for high prices, both in the initial auction and in resale.
JimB

Does the "Nagy Collection" bring a premium?
Posted By: bcDaniels
noted on labels have brought premiums for coins for years. Someday, these men will be listed in the SCD as having pedigreed collections(as is the Yeoman Redbook in coins)and they will surely bring a premium.
