Another Old Judge question

Posted By: Bryan Long
As someone who may want to start collecting Old Judge cards, are there any publications or books that can be picked up about these cards? I would like to learn more about this set before I start buying cards, and I know there is much to be learned. Obviously, the true old judge collector has secrets as to what is rare and what is not, but I'm not looking for any big secrets just the basic stuff and maybe some inside tips as to what to look for when it comes to certain cards.

.

Another Old Judge question

Posted By: Jay Miller
There were a few articles published in VCBC and the one Joe Gonsowski and I did in Old Cardboard. Other than that there really aren't any articles. Leon's suggestion about Lew Lipset's encyclopedia Vol. 1 is a good one. That is the best source. Otherwise, I would be happy to answer most questions. You can email me at oldjudge@gmail.com. It's a great set-enjoy the quest!

Best---Jay
