By educating his bidders, you will really piss the scam artist off.

I really dont know if eBay will do anything, but maybe they will if enough of us reported it. As far as contacting a bidder about a scam, I have done it in the past without any problems, but I suspect there could be issues depending on how you go about it. eBay's policy states the following: eBay allows members to contact one another through the eBay Email Forwarding System, with features such as "Contact an eBay Member" and "Ask Seller a Question". The purpose of these features is to provide an open avenue of communication between eBay users" <br />I do appreciate all the responses & help so far. His name is Rick Giddings from Illinois and after some heated items we exchanged he left this number 815-645-8282. I would reccomend anyone with questions to contact him. After speaking for about an hour he really is a nice guy though abrasive at first. His mind is made up however, and I think his bark is alot bigger than his bite. Possibly a nice guy though underneath that rough hide. I don't have beef with him anymore. If someone is gullable enough to take a chance on it then I can't stop them. I doubt eBay will remove it. They don't care as long as they get paid.<br /><br />Jason

In this case, the consensus seems that it would be warranted, however, I still think it's not allowed.<br />Various times while running auctions for higher-end game used cards, some jackasses emailed by bidders, ERRONEOUSLY alleging that they were fakes. I received confirmation from the manufactueres that they were NOT fakes, but the damage was done. BTW nobody bothered emailing me first to present their allegations.<br />Just a thought...
