Posted By: davidcycleback
I own a bunch of original photographs/negatives from when a famous
photographer left the country without paying his back rent and the
contents of his rental were auctioned off. I 'talked' via email to
the photographer later, but never mentioned the photos.

Posted By: David Smith
This guy is also selling a Ty Cobb but I have no clue what it is supposed to be. Is it supposed to be a Willards or Star Player candy or what.

On the subject of rental auctions, Paris Hilton had some of her personal belongings in a rental storage facility and her parents were supposed to take care of paying for it. Ooops, they didn't and the contents were sold at auction. Included with the mundane items were supposedly more sex videos and a diary she kept of sex partners.

The diary is supposed to be filled with juicy info and the new owner is asking $20 million for it and the rest of the contents of the rental storage room. Sounds kind of like legal blackmail to me.....

David

Posted By: warshawlaw
Where an oscar winner left several academy awards in a storage locker, the contents were sold sight unseen at auction, and the happy auction winner woke up to about $100K in goods. The academy and the winner tried like heck to keep them off the market, but to no avail.

Posted By: Howard
In the item description he writes, "As my other auctions I will start low with no reserve". It certainly sounds as if he has auctioned many items yet he does not have a single feedback comment from a buyer.
