Sniping question

Posted By: Judge Dred (Fred)
Here's a quick question to ebay snipers:

Does it help to place 4 or 5 last second bids (all the same amount) via a snipe service?

See the following bid list:

http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&item=8752303230

Just curious...
Sniping question

Posted By: Charlie O'Neal
I have seen some people do that before b/c somtimes a snipe might not go thru for whatever reason and buy puttin in multiple snipes from different services it will hopefully get your bid in at least once. At least that was the logic I was told.

Sniping question

Posted By: andy becker
esnipe has three different servers. you can set each, in case one fails. i assume this buyer forgot he had set one and set it a second time....creating 4 snipes.
overkill, if you ask me.....but if you have to have the card....i guess it works.
maybe 1-2% of esnipes fail. it sux when it happens. but i am still too lazy to set multiple snipes.
