Can someone definitively say if this site is a fraud?

Posted By: tbob
There was a thread a while back on this site and I pitched in with the fact that a couple of the cards looked like cards which I knew a couple of collectors here had purchased and unless they "flipped" them, this guy is using those scans for a scam. I am 99.9% sure this is a bogus site but man the prices are definitely right and I keep having to tell myself, "no, no, no."
I was wondering if anyone has ever purchased anything from this site and could they relate their stories, either good or bad...
http://www.top-sports-cards.com/web/baseball.html
Posted By: Robert
It is a fraud it is Tony....about a year ago I came accross it and he runs a pretty good scam you order the cards and then supposedly ships the package and gives you a tracking number to verify it has left. Once that happens you are to wire transfer the money to his account in England. I never sent the money because it was to good to be true.

Posted By: Wesley
Don't risk it Bob. That site is a fraud. Many of the scans of the prewar cards listed were stolen from BOTN's website a few years ago. I recognize at least a few cards that are currently in my safe deposit box so I know for certain that Tony does not have those.

Posted By: Paul
About a year ago, this person had a PSA graded Honus T206 listed on Yahoo! auctions, and a few other very high end cards. If I remember correctly, those cards had just sold from one of the major auction houses. What legitimate seller would do that?

Posted By: rob
Their store sign has the words "Cards" and "Collectibles", as if the Italian words are "Cards and Collectibles". Laughably bad fraud, last seen them trying to auction on Beckett.com

Posted By: PC
If you search the admin. address for that site (1225 Simms Heights Road), you get this:

http://www.datcoinc.com/

Datco's motto: "We'll get your gluing on a roll".

A related pool liner site for Datco also comes up on the search for that address.

Hmmmm. I might call Datco and ask to speak to Francis.
