Nagy Acquisition
Posted By: Preece1
For me, these three cards take me back to when I was 10 years old (30 years ago). I was raised in Grosse Ile, Michigan (Frank Nagy's hometown), and my uncle (Donald Schlaff)was a friend of Mr. Nagy. When I was 10 I was given a tour of Mr. Nagy's collection, and besides the beautiful Wagner, I remember Mr. Nagy having 3 different color variations of the 1948 Leaf Dimaggio. The blue is the one that I could never find, with the Yellow more difficult than the regular green. I know these are not expensive cards, but there are some individual cards that take you back to a different time. For me these cards were it. The great folks at Mastronet (Doug and Kevin) helped me obtain these cards.

Posted By: barrysloate
Patrick- I've never seen the blue before and while Leafs are known for their color variations, I think that is a genuinely rare color. Nice trio of Joe D.'s I wonder if board expert Ted Zanidakis has seen the blue before.
