Posted By: warshawlaw
The seller is hyping Lefty O'Doul's high school graduation photo:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8721771093&rd=1&sspage name=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

Only one small problem: Lefty never went to high school and never graduated. He dropped out in jr. high and went to work. By the time he would have graduated high school he was pitching semi-pro ball and would be signed by a PCL team shortly thereafter.

You have to do your homework.

Posted By: warshawlaw
look at the face, look at the eyes, maybe it wasn't a high school graduation but some other occasion, I bought it from the estate of his second wife so it must be him, etc., etc., etc.

Yeah, that's the ticket, from his wife, Morgan Fairchild, who I've seen naked...

I did look at the face and compare it with early images I have; it ain't him. And another occasion when a young man wears a cap and gown? Puh-lease...
