Any ideas on this card? (PCL?)

Posted By: Glen V
I'm not sure, but don't think its PCL. Not the same, but some similarities to the 40s Vancouver Amateur league cards - maybe a different year or another amateur league? I picked this up from Macrae - maybe he'd know:

.

Posted By: Jeff
It's not PCL... though I'm guessing Mike already knows that. I looked for this player in Carlos Bauer's PCL encyclopedia and he doesn't appear there. Unfortunately The Encyclopedia of Minor League Baseball isn't user friendly when it comes to locating a team unless you have a city. I spot checked a number of western leagues during the era Mike described and came up empty.

jeff
