I seem to recall bailing out in the very low four figures. I can't even remember who was selling it. You can see a reflection of the seller's photographer in the photo and the image is a bit a-kilter; you might thereby deduce that it wasn't one of your frontline auction houses. Image is dated November '04 on my HD. Maybe someone else remembers seeing it or even won it. It sure is a beauty. Wish I had tried harder to win it but I think I was going through one of my "oy, I am spending far too much money on baseball memorabilia" jags.<br /><br />Jack: "I was lucky enough to be at Wrigley in 1961 when Maris hit his 50th home run that historic season."<br />You were lucky to see Maris play in pinstripes.
