Why didn't Babe Adams get a T206 card?
Posted By: T206Collector
The guy started and won three games for the Pirates in the 1909 World Series against Ty Cobb's Tigers, pitching 3 complete games, one of which was a shutout, with an ERA of 1.33.

The only explanation that makes sense to me is that the American Tobacco Company made up its mind prior to the 1909 season, Mr. Adams' rookie year, who would appear on the T206 cards. But weren't other new players added after 1909?

Posted By: john/z28jd
I would say it had something to do with compensation for them using his likeness,he definitely shouldve been among players included in the set.Sam Leever isnt in the set either and he was already 180 wins into his career at that point. For the A's,Jack Coombs,Rube Vickers and Cy Morgan all deserved to have a card but none of them do.

Maybe they didnt like pitchers that much
