Posted By: T206Collector
I was gifted this book back when it came out in 1987 and I abused the heck out of it. After I picked up a nice clean copy on ebay a couple of years back, I mounted and matted some of the images from the book that fell apart and have them hanging on my wall. I actually made so many wall-hangings I ended up selling a few on ebay to cover my cost.

Great book. Truly great.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Classic-Baseball-Cards-Book-The-Golden-years-1886-1956_W0QQitemZ5237980040QQcategoryZ213QQssPageName ZWD1VQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Posted By: J Levine
The book is fantatic with large color pictures of most cards from popular sets. I have owned at least four copies over the years...sold one, gave one as a gift, used one so much it fell apart and i gave it away.

You can find it cheaper on amazon fairly often.

Joshua

Posted By: David McDonald
I got a like-new copy off eBay last year for $76.50 (about four bucks a pound). I bid on it as if I would never see another copy again. No regrets. The book is indispensable. You got a great deal on a great book.
