Posted By: <b>Trevor</b><p>Hi, I purchased a T206 Christy Matthewson card off of ebay, from a seller that seems credible. "sports authentic apparel" but i have a few problems with it. Okay so the print seems correct, the first letter of Natl is bigger and such, the back is slightly fuzzy, but crease free. On the front there is what appears to be a very glossy sticker, and on the right hand side there is another black line, on the edge, like it was cut from a sheet. Any ideas? I dont knwo how but I can post a pic...<br />Thanks

The only one I got was the SK Thorpe that was sold with a SK Hubbell. I was pretty sure the Thorpe was fake, but positive that the Hubbell was real. I BIN'd the lot and sure enough, the THorpe was fake and the Hubbell was good, but the seller did give me the money back on the Thorpe and I got a SK Hubbell at reall good price.<br /><br />Jay<br /><br />My place is full of valuable, worthless junk.

If you look at sportsauthenticapparel's 30 day completed sales list, they sold Oakley sunglasses, the fake cards and newer autographed sports items.<br /><br />Just a heads up. Posted By: <b>Josh K.</b><p>I think you should send another email and let him know that you will be contacting the authorities, put the phrase "wire fraud" somewhere in the email for good measure. you might also consider a small claim action if you have an address - usually costs about $50 to file and your time, but due to the relatively small amount and the need to travel, its probably not worth your efforts (though some states have laws for unfair and deceptive practices that provide for the recovery of triple your damages and attroneys fees - so it may be possible to find a local attorney willing to handle the matter).

After they were NARU'd, they came back as Redmarie1922 and were NARU'd again. Now, someone from Provo, Utah, eBay id, Redcarson1919 is selling Oakley sunglasses and buying Michael Jordan items. I've heard a lot of stories where a buyer who got scammed calls the local police to report it...and never hears from the authorities ever again. I would continue to press the local police, but i would think about taking matters in your own hands...small claims court, for instance.
