Admin question....posting objects/photos
Posted By: Brian
Did I miss something lately?

There use to be a little botton on the bottom that you could click on to insert objects or photos. You uploaded the photo into the temp directory and added the link. That appears to have gone away and replaced with "To easily enter a link to your post, click here", this now at the top.

So, does the temp directory still exist or do we have to host our own photos and hyperlink?

Does this make any sense, or am I lost here? Did I miss the memo?

Brian

Posted By: Brian
sure enough, I've been using Firefox more often lately. I switched back to IE and the botton came back. My computer works a lot better and with more speed if I'm on Firefox.

thanks

Brian

Admin question....posting objects/photos
Posted By: Damian Anderson
I am using Firefox as well, and I think more and more members will be soon. It is just far superior to IE. I am frustrated often though wanting to post pictures and can't get it right without this "button". I am no computer wiz. Is there anyway you can get this function to work with Firefox? Thanks!

Damian

Posted By: Bill Cornell
Firefox is a much better browser, at least until IE 7 comes out later this year & copies most of its features.

The N54 guys know about this problem with the button... there's no workaround.

Bill

Posted By: Daniel Bretta
If you're trying to post a photo here I would suggest using imageshack.us. I switched to firefox about two weeks ago, and it is FAR superior to IE. Thus far the only problem I have encountered was trying to use proquest which is a service available to SABR members. I have to switch back to IE to use it.
