t206/t205 value ?

Posted By: scott
since i don't collect t206 and t205's ,i haven't been in touch with value increases.lately, due to caramels rising so quickly and just plain hard to find,i'm considering expanding into the t cards for a few hof pitchers i'm in the market for.are prices rising as quickly on these sets as quickly as other tougher pre war issues? they appear to be. it no longer seems there is a non expensive option to deadball era cards anymore.opinions...

scott

t206/t205 value ?

Posted By: identify7
If you want relatively inexpensive deadball era cards of HOF pitchers the National Game cards are a set which appears to fit that bill. I recently came across this 1913 set while trying to determine if any set contained both Alexander and Young (as well as Matty and Johnson).

This is a game set, like fan craze, but typically has full length depiction of players. Many of the top HOFs are in this set.

t206/t205 value ?

Posted By: JimB
I don't know about T205s, but T206s seem to be on the steady rise in mid-grade. I don't think they have gone up as dramatically as caramel cards, but T206s are always going up.
JimB
