Posted By: Hal Lewis
That is absolutely... positively... the WORST case of "shilling" that I have ever seen.

Only bids on Henry Yee's items.

EBay needs to do something about this... but they won't.

Anyone who bids against this shill is asking for trouble.

Posted By: dan mckee
ebay won't do anything, he is a powerseller and ebay is run by complete idiots. They allow fraud and shilling as long as they collect from it!

Posted By: Elliot
A better way to report him (in terms of results) is that the contact info for ohwhatafeeling45 is not correct. Ebay seems prepared to act on this complaint as it is easy to verify.

Posted By: Jim Clarke
Maybe Hal, Dan, myself, and others will retract their bids on the Gehrig Card and other lots and put down the real reason why..... Possible shill bidding and I don't trust the seller... Other's who do not know him or read this board might be more careful. I know I do not like to see bid retractions on items as I think someone knows something about the item that I don't know...

Posted By: dan mckee
That did nothing! Why is the seller still registered that the ID was shilling for? Ebay bags his bogus bidding ID's but leaves his selling ID up??? This is worthless as he has many ID's and will just create more!

bad contact info report would have done this, that is why it is best to turn in the shill. Now the seller ID and all auctions are still up and trust me, no one will get a bargain!

Posted By: jay behrens
All you have to do is look at Braodway Rick's Scam Zone. Even after he was convicted in court, eBay said their wan't enough evidence to ban them.

The only thing being an eBay Powerseller means is that you can get away with just about anything short of murder. Until eBay is held legally responible for the auctions and the actions of the sellers on it site, nothing will change.

Personally, I don't how you can set up rules and then cclaim that you are not responsible for anything that goes on. If this is the case, then they need to remove all rules and let it truely be a cavet emptor market. If they insist on having rules and only seletively enforcing them, then they also need to be held accoutnable for the wrong-doings that they allow to continue. But then that just makes too much sense.

Jay

My place is full of valuable, worthless junk.
