It seems that the buying and selling of cards has become mostly electronic, but what about organizing an individual collection? Are there catalog/priceguides that can be downloaded into excel? For instance, I collect cards of Negro Leaguers and looking for all the catalogued cards of, say, Artie Wilson or Ray Noble is a chore. Downloadable and then sortable data would make life easier for a lazy bastard like me. Not to mention having all the checklists handy.<br /><br />--Chad

If anyone did, I suspect they could make some good money, but it would most likely be geared towards the shiney stuff, and not vintage cards.<br /><br />Jay<br><br>I like to sit outside drink beer and yell at people. If I did this at home I would be arrested, so I go to baseball games and fit right in.

You can sign up for free for the 'My Collection' feature, which not only provides you a way to track your collection online, but also gives you access to thousands of sets (from the Troy Haymakers through to the shiny stuff) as well as by-player checklists.<br /><br />While it is not exactly ideal -- in that you'll need to copy the page and format it yourself -- it's still faster than trying to find the information and/or typing out the list yourself.<br /><br />MyCards.info provides an online checklist service of sorts as well, but the list of available checklists is somewhat limited (or at least it was when they offered the service for free).<br /><br /><br />Richard.<br /><a href="http://www.richardarmstrong.ca" target="_new" rel="nofollow">http://www.richardarmstrong.ca</a><br />
