Imperial Tobacco (C46) question
 

Posted By: <b>ramram</b><p>I'm not too familiar with the Imperial Tobacco set and was curious if the picture below of the 1913 Eastern League Champ Newark Indians had any players in the set. If so, are these the same bust shots used for the 1912 players in this set. What few cards I've seen from this set, they all have the team names across the jersey fronts but I suspect that was added by the card company. The players in the photo are: Top L-R, Eneman, Holmes, (Al) Schact (the Clown Prince of Baseball), Lee, Aitchison, Bell, Barger, Middle L-R, McCarty, E. Zimmerman, Harry Smith Mgr., Swacina, Higgins, Bottom L-R, Getz, Myers, W. Posted By: <b>David Vargha</b><p>Lee's picture is different. In the Imperial Tobacco pose, he has a full-collared top (jacket?). I know McGinnity was in the set as well and he is not in that picture. I believe that Holmes and McCarty are in the set, but I'm not sure if anyone else is from that photo.<br /><br />Edited to add: Collins is also in the set.<br /><br />DavidVargha@hotmail.com
