Cracker Jack Sets
Posted By: Jeff Lichtman
Any reason that the 1914 Cracker Jack set is so much scarcer than the 1915?

Posted By: HW
The fact that factory sets were available to the consurmer in 1915 allows for a good number of high grade specimens from that year.

It also seems as though there have been a couple of factory 1914 sets to hit the market, one very recently that supposedly sold for $800,000 or some insane number. I would presume that these pristine 1914 cards were leftovers from the year before and never made it into the packs.
