Charleston Seagulls T206

Posted By: John
As a former resident of Charleston, SC and a follower of the Riverdogs (single A), I am interested if anyone on the board could provide me with information regarding the Foster and Paige cards in the T206 set. Are these players depicted as members of the Charleston, SC team or a WV entry? My guess, based on the proximity of the other SL teams to South Carolina, is that Paige and Foster were members of the Seagulls. I have done some research (including asking some of the PR people at the stadium) but have found very little outside of a date of origin (late 1880's) for the organization itself.

I know that Foster moved to the International League shortly after his stint with Charleston and eventually played with the Senators, I know nothing of Paige's career.

I also have a couple of T210's with Charleston players depicted. I will assume that these players were with the West Virginia team.

I would appreciate any information; I know that a few of you are minor league collectors. I have also searched for postcards and cabinets of the South Carolina team from around the T206 era to no avail. Images (if they exist) would also be appreciated.
